The Baldwin County Board of Education passed an Anti-Harrassment Policy on June 17, 2010. In addition, the board also approved a Harassment Complaint Form and a Harassment Witness Statement Form. This form is available through the principal and/or counselor's office. It is also available on the school system's website at http://www.bcbe.org/. The complaint must be signed by the student alleging the violation or by the student's parent or legal guardian, and it must be delivered to the principal or the principal's designee either by mail or personal delivery. (The complaint can not be written by an education employee on behalf of an affected student or his or her parent or guardian.) The Harassment Witness Statement Form should be used as documentation for those students or other bystanders who may have witnessed a student being harassed in some particular manner.
