About Your Teacher...

I received my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from The University of Alabama and my Master's degree from Springhill College.  

My first year of teaching was at Tuscaloosa Middle School with Remedial Reading Classes. I taught Kindergarten for 23 years at Silverhill Elementary School.  I also taught First Grade during my second year at Silverhill Elementary.  This will be my third year teaching K-4 here at Silverhill. 

I am married and have four children who are 20, 17, 16 and 14 years of age.
